Definition of Terms

Any user belongs to an organization. Each organization has multiple roles as follows:

We are using the following terms in the  AxelGlobe:

Term	Definition
Demo Area	The area where signed-up users and subscribing users can download imagery without paying.
Dashboard	Top page view that any user can see sign-in.
Cell	The unit of cutting for satellite imagery on AxelGlobe.
Tile	A portion of the image cut by Cell.
Subscription	A unit of a contract to received data using AxelGlobe.
True Color	A name of AxelGlobe imagery product with only RGB bands for a visualization purpose. Please refer the section 5 of the Image Specification sheet in detail.
Multispectral	A name of AxelGlobe imagery product with full bands for an analysis purpose. Please refer the section 4 of the Image Specification sheet in detail.
Capture	A unit where a satellite in the AxelGlobe constellation takes a picture.
Download	Tiles are bundled into files when a user makes a request to download. Pro subscriptions allow for up to 1,000 tiles per month to be downloaded. If you want to know how to download a tile, please refer AxelGlobe User Manual.
Download history	A user can find any download activities made by their organization in the 'Downloads' tab.
GeoTIFF	An image file format, with georeference data embedded in a TIFF file.  If you want to know how to view the data, please refer Getting started guide.
JPEG2000	An image file format that can include georeference data. In AxelGlobe, a user can select to download a tile in this format with georeference data in lossless data compression. If you want to know how to view the data, please refer Getting started guide
CLI	It is the acronym for a command-line interface, that provides features to download tiles as machine-to-machine interaction. The tool is still in the alpha version. Please refer to the document to know more about how to use it.
